Purchasing items from Howick Midwife Ltd
♦ All prices are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
♦ Prices show cost of the product with GST (applicable to NZ customers only) as well as without GST for those customers who do not reside in NZ.
Shipping Charges within NZ
♦ We aim to have all goods dispatched within 24hrs of receiving your payment (excludes weekends and public holidays where we will ship/contact you on the next working day).
♦ We will email you if there is a delaying in dispatching your order.
♦ We can deliver to any mainland NZ physical address (Sorry this excludes Chatham Islands & Stewart Island - Please Contact Us for freight options)
♦ We use Fastway Courier or NZ post to ship your order.
♦ Free Delivery on orders over $100. Orders below $100 - our flat shipping rate is $6.
♦No additional cost for Rural Delivery - but please mention your RD number so we can put appropriate ticket to avoid delays. Rural deliveries can take 2-3 extra days.
♦Please allow: 1-3 working days for Auckland deliveries
3-4 working days for North Island deliveries
5-6 working days for South Island deliveries
For Public holidays periods - please allow a few extra days as courier delivery may take a little longer than usual
♦ We do offer Saturday delivery to selected major metropolitan destinations. The cost of Saturday delivery is an additional $5.75 per order – total shipping being $11.75 for order less than $100 or $5.75 for orders over $100. You are able to select this option at the checkout. Please Note: For Saturday delivery we do need to receive your order on Friday by 10am. Saturday deliveries are not guaranteed though we may dispatch the order on time.
♦ Wanting to send gift(s) overseas? We are happy to send your order overseas – please make sure you provide the address the gift(s) need to be shipped to – International Shipping charges will apply.
♦ Please ensure a correct delivery address is supplied for every order to avoid delays.
♦ Payments by direct credit/Bank Transfer to our bank account can sometimes take 1-2 working days to appear in our account depending on who you bank with. Order will be shipped once your payment has been validated/confirmed in our account.
♦ If for some reason a delivery is missing an item or number of items then please inform us within 48hrs of the goods being signed for. There will be no recompense for any items, if we are not informed of the shortfall within the given time frame.
♦ We try to hold most products in stock, apart from Medela Symphony Hire pump or Medela Freestyle Breast pump. The order for these need to be confirmed and will usually be available for collection within 2-3 working days.
♦Occasionally a product may be out of stock in which case your order will be placed on “Back Order”. We will inform you of this as well as the anticipated time frame the product will be available to be dispatched to you, so you can decide if you wish to cancel or proceed with your order.
♦ We use a tracked courier service for our orders. We welcome use of the "Comments Box" before confirming your order for any instructions, however we can’t guarantee that the instructions will be followed to the letter. Our couriers will not call in advance to arrange delivery at a specific time. You are able to organize a re-delivery if you were left a calling card. If you would like a no-signature required delivery please state this in the “Comments Box” as well as the safe place to leave your order. Please Note: This is at your own risk.
International Shipping Charges (Express Courier)
For all orders - flat shipping rate of $20 to anywhere in Australia (DHL Express Ltd).
♦ This is an Overnight Service to main centres in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide). Other areas delivery times may take 1-3 days.
For all orders - flat shipping rate of $35 to anywhere in USA (DHL Express Ltd).
For all orders - flat shipping rate of $45 to anywhere in UK (DHL Express Ltd).
♦ Rest of the World:
For all orders - flat shipping rate of $50 (DHL Express Ltd).
15% GST is automatically deducted at the checkout for International Orders - we do refund GST if for any reason the address was not recognised as being outside of NZ.
♦ We will e-mail all customers (NZ & International) the tracking code and the courier’s website for ease of tracking so you know exactly where your order is, once it has left our dispatch area.
♦ Oversized items ( NZ & International) may incur additional charges – we will contact you if this is the case so you can decide whether you wish to proceed with the order.
♦ Credit Card (via Paypal – you do not have to Register with Paypal, it is free for you to use to make a payment & your financial information is not shared with us by Paypal )
♦ Direct credit to our bank account – you will be able to see the account number when you select this option.
♦ Lay-By option is available at the checkout. Please see our Lay-By terms Here
♦ EFTPOS or Cash (NZ Only) at the time of pick up. When using EFTPOS for payment there is no additional charge when using Cheque or Savings account to make your payment however we do have surcharge of 3% per order if you are paying by Credit Card. At present we are unable to accept payWave.
Picking up the order & viewing
♦ We are happy for you to view the product and/or pick up the product. Please indicate in the “Comments Box” if you wish to pick up your order or phone/txt: 021474057 to view or pick up an order. We do not stock all products at our Howick Midwife Healthcare Centre so txting/phoning will ensure that the product is there for you to view or pick up. The viewing of the product(s) and picking up of an order is at: 76 Cook Street, Howick, Auckland 2014.
♦ We offer free gift-wrapping service & a link to include this service with your order is provided following description of the product on our website.
♦ We are very happy to send your order as a gift to a lucky recipient. Remember to include the recipients address in the delivery section of the shipping cart and use the “comments box” to include a special message or a greeting that we can be included in the gift card with the gift. All gift items are sent to the recipient without an invoice, the invoice will be emailed to the purchaser on the day the order is dispatched. We are very happy to email/txt the photo of the gift sent, to you as a purchaser if you wish - please let us know!
♦ We endeavour to accurately represent all colours offered on our website. However we cannot control the variation that may be caused by different PC monitors. We are happy to refund purchases for customers who are dissatisfied with the colour as long as they are returned in accordance with the returns procedure above.
♦ In the event that an item is listed at an incorrect price or incorrect information, Howick Midwife Ltd reserves the right to refuse or cancel orders. Howick Midwife Ltd will make all reasonable effort to contact the customer using the details provided and all received monies will be refunded.
Expiry Date on products
♦ We ensure that the product has a reasonable expiry date timeframe at the time of purchase. However please feel free to Contact Us if you are not planning to use the products such as waterwipes/ creams etc immediately. We are very happy to provide the expiry date of the product you are planning to purchase.
♦ Orders may only be cancelled if the item has not been shipped when the cancellation has been requested. Please Contact Us if you wish to cancel an order. If your order has already been shipped please read our returns policy for information on returning an item.
